Kulgam/: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today flagged-off IEC vans to raise awareness among masses to adopt COVID Appropriate Behavior and SOPs to avoid the spread of COVID-19 and its new variant Omicron.
The mobile publicity vans left from the Mini Secretariat Complex and moved across various areas of the district to educate masses about benefits of strict adherence to CAB and implications in case of its violation.
On the occasion, the DC appealed to people of Kulgam district to take all preventive measures against Covid-19 including wearing of masks, usage of hand hygiene and maintaining social distance. He said the cases of Covid-19 are continuously rising up and it is imperative for all to follow CAB religiously.
Present on the occasion were ADDC, ADC, ACD, ACP and other officers.
