Covid-19 In JK: 3 deaths reported in last 24 hours, toll stays 4537

Srinagar, Jammu: Jammu & Kashmir on Saturday reported 655 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 392 from Jammu division and 263 from Kashmir division, taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 343965, said J&K Government on Saturday in it’s daily covid bulletin , adding therein that also three Covid deaths have been reported; 01 from Jammu Division and 02 from Kashmir Division and as such the overall covid death toll has mounted to 4537 in Jammu & Kashmir.
Government in it’s covid bulletin also said that moreover, 162more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 59from Jammu Division and103 from Kashmir Division, stating therein further that one new case of Mucormycosis has been reported today, taking the total number of confirmed cases to 51 across J&K..
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 63,311doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to1,92,70,289.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 343965 positive cases, 2982are Active Positive (1650in Jammu Division and 1332in Kashmir Division), 336446 have recovered and 4537 have died; 2203 in Jammu division and 2334in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 19789128 test results available, 343965 samples have tested positive and 19445163 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 58,671 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 5387978 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 8215persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 2982 in isolation and 432505 in home surveillance. Besides, 4939739 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported today, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 133 cases, Baramulla reported 41 cases, Budgam reported 46 cases, Pulwama reported 07 cases, Kupwara reported 08 cases, Anantnag reported 09 cases, Bandipora reported 11 cases, Ganderbal reported 04 cases, Kulgam reported 04cases while as Shopian reported no fresh case for today.
Similarly, Jammu reported 263cases, Reasi reported 15 cases for today, Udhampur reported 17cases, Rajouri reported 14 cases, Doda reported 10 cases, Kathua reported 26 cases, Samba reported 12 cases, Poonch reported 31 case, Kishtwar reported 03 cases while as Ramban reported 01 fresh case for today.
The bulletin further informs the general public that they can contact helpline numbers 0191-2520982/2674444/2674115/2674908/2549676 in Jammu Division and 0194-2440283/2430581/2452052/2457313/2457312 in Kashmir Division for any kind of guidance and assistance.
In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
