JKCCA to open 11th Int’l Exhibition of Art

Jammu | : Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu is organizing its 11th International Exhibition of Art (Online) on 17th January, 2022. Works of seventy four eminent and well known artists, along with the works of young artists of India and abroad are being displayed in the exhibition. The exhibition would provide an opportunity to the viewers to have the glimpse of the art works of the artists working at different places in the works in their own styles and mediums.
According to O P Sharma, Founder Director, JKCCA, the NGO integrates itself with the functioning of visual arts, literature and performing arts. JKCCA was established back in the year 1999. Since then it has organized on the spot art competitions for children, state and national level art camps & workshops, art exhibitions in and outside the state, providing platform to the artists in all these fields to showcase their talent in the state, national and international levels. He said that JKCCA has organized has so far organized eight International Art Exhibitions (Physical and Online). JKCCA will be making efforts in future also to explore more and more opportunities to further its activities in all the aspects of visual, literary and performing arts.
The names of Invited Artists to be included in the proposed exhibition are V S Rahi, Dr. A K Dixit and Sabia Khan, Delhi, Fareha Zeba, Dhaka, Bangladesh, Jang S. Verman and O P Sharma, J&K, Dr. Mamta Singh, Dehradun, K S Gill and Dharminder Sharma, Prof. Varinder Saini, Punjab, Neena Singh, Maharashtra, and Dr. Asha Anand, Uttra Pradesh. The other artists include the names of Krishna Trivedi, Rita Kashyap, Delhi; Ganesh Kumar Sharma, Deepa Soni, Kamalnain Bhan, Ashok Mehra, Santosh Tiku, Rouf Qayasi, Aslam Naqshbandi, Sireesha Srinivas, Archana Choudhary, Shivani Koul Bhat, Falak Zehra, Sheikh Ghulam Rasool, Masood Tabish, Tariq Saifi, Dr. Raj Kumar Sharma, Jammu & Kashmir; Dr. Mamta Verma, Prof. Saroj Rani, Pratima Singh, Dr. Sarika Bala Mishra, Vibha Singh, Dr. Rekha Rani Sharma, Vanita Midha, Nisha Choudhary, Dr. Asha Anand, Jyoti Verma, Uttar Pradesh; Prof. Varinder Kumar, Dr. Kavita Singh, Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Bansal, Amardeep Kour, Dr. Sudhamani Sood, Sahil Sodhi, Atul Matoo, Mukesh Viz, Kavi Chouhan, Varuna Khanna, Bhawna Sharma, Punjab; Subhash Shorey, Shivini Shorey, Anita Gupta Garg, Chandhigarh; Deepthi Jayan, Tamil Nadu; Anjali Prabhakar, Dhirendra Sharma, Swati M Jain, Amita Khare, Madhya Pradesh; Dr. Vinita Dahiya, Dr. Vasudha Joshi, Uttra Khand; Pinal Pinchal, Yashwant Patel, Sailesh Patel, Gujarat; Sangita Sharma, Arpitha B Ruparel, Jayanti Patil, Maharashtra; Mamta Rajesh Bora, Veena Vyas, Dr. Alka Chadha Harpalani, Shantla Madhu, Karnataka; Dhirendra Sharma, Annpurna Shukla, Mohmmad Salim, Rajasthan; Yamuna Menon, Kerala; and Yakruti Patel, Mamta Patel, USA.
