Covid-19 In JK: 1 death reported in last 24 hours, toll rises to 4514

Srinagar, Jammu : Jammu & Kashmir on Wednesday reported 418 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 311 from Jammu division and 107 from Kashmir division, taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 342419, said J&K Government on Wednesday in it’s daily covid bulletin, stating therein that however no fresh covid death was reported from any where in Jammu & Kashmir and as such J&K’s covid death toll stayed at 4530.
Government in it’s daily covid bulletin also said that moreover, 140more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 28from Jammu Division and 112 from Kashmir Division, stating therein further that one new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Wednesday, taking the total number of confirmed cases to 51 across J&K..
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 83,611doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to1,89,79,313.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 342419 positive cases, 1819are Active Positive (894in Jammu Division and 925in Kashmir Division), 336070 have recovered and 4530 have died; 2199 in Jammu division and 2331in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 19623565 test results available, 342419 samples have tested positive and 19281146 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 59,716 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 5298061 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 8350persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 1819 in isolation and 435471 in home surveillance. Besides, 4847891 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Wednesday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 52 cases, Baramulla reported 13 cases, Budgam reported 16 cases, Pulwama reported 08 cases, Kupwara reported 09cases, Anantnag reported no cases, Bandipora reported 03 cases, Ganderbal reported 04cases while as Kulgam and Shopian reported 01 fresh cases each Wednesday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 109 cases, Reasi reported 156 cases for Wednesday, Udhampur reported 15 cases, Rajouri reported 05 cases, Doda reported 03cases, Kathua reported 10cases, Samba reported 03 cases, Poonch reported 06 case, Kishtwar reported 03cases while as Ramban reported 01 case for Wednesday.
The bulletin further informs the general public that they can contact helpline numbers 0191-2520982/2674444/2674115/2674908/2549676 in Jammu Division and 0194-2440283/2430581/2452052/2457313/2457312 in Kashmir Division for any kind of guidance and assistance.
In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
