Srinagar /Dec, 31 :Three militants were on Friday killed in an encounter with government forces in Pantha Chowk area of Srinagar city and one of the slain militants has been identified so, said Police.
On it’s twitter handle Kashmir Zone Police quoted IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar as sayingthat three militants were killed in a gunfight and .Incriminating materials including arms & ammunition were also recovered from their, stating therein further that Search going on. Police in it’s tweet also said that three policemen and one CRPF man were also injured in the shootout.
Kashmir Zone Police in it’s latest tweet quoted IGP Kashmir as saying that one of the three slain militants has been identified as Suhail Ahmad Rather of Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) militant outfit, saying therein further that as revealed during Thursday’s Press Conference the said slain militant Suhail was also involved in #Zewan militant attack. The tweet also said that all the militants involved in the Zewan attack have been killed.
