Covid-19 In JK: 3 death reported in last 24 hours, toll rises to 4518

Srinagar, Jammu : Jammu & Kashmir on Thursday reported 132 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 27 from Jammu division and 105 from Kashmir division, taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 340293, said J&K Government on Thursday in it’s daily covid bulletin, adding therein that three COVID deaths were reported from Kashmir Division and as such the overall covid death toll rose to 4518 in Jammu & Kashmir.
Government in it’s daily covid bulletin further said that moreover, 118 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 21from Jammu Division and 97 from Kashmir Division, adding therein that no new case of Mucormycosis were reported Thursday, thus the total number of confirmed cases remains 50 across J&K. On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 72,005doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to1,78,54,654.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 340293 positive cases, 1319are Active Positive (344 in Jammu Division and 975in Kashmir Division), 334456 have recovered and 4518 have died; 2196 in Jammu division and 2322in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 18859176 test results available, 340293 samples have tested positive and 18518883 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 53,316 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 5068038 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 8159persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 1319 in isolation and 431612 in home surveillance. Besides, 4622430 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Thursday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 40 cases, Baramulla reported 34 cases, Budgam reported 04 cases, Pulwama reported 07cases, Kupwara reported 05 cases, Anantnag reported 02 cases, Bandipora reported 08 cases, Ganderbal reported 05cases while as Kulgam and Shopian reported no fresh cases for Thursday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 23cases, Udhampur reported no case, Rajouri reported no cases, Doda reported 01case, Kathua reported no case, Samba reported no case, Poonch reported 02cases, Kishtwar reported 01 case while as Ramban and Reasi reported no fresh cases for Thursday.
The bulletin further informs the general public that they can contact helpline numbers 0191-2520982/2674444/2674115/2674908/2549676 in Jammu Division and 0194-2440283/2430581/2452052/2457313/2457312 in Kashmir Division for any kind of guidance and assistance.
In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
