DDC Chairperson Ganderbal,inspects progress on various developmental Projects

Ganderbal,: The District Development Council Chairperson Ganderbal, Nuzhat Ishfaq today conducted a daylong tour of various areas of the district and inspected progress on various ongoing developmental projects, here.
During the visit, the DDC Chairperson was accompanied by Additional District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, Pir Muzafar, ACR, SE and Executive Engineer of R&B and concerned district officers.
During the tour, Nuzhat Ishfaq inspected progress on Wayil bridge, upgradation work on Chapergund Gutlibagh road, functioning of Regional Transformer Repair workshop at Old Power House premises Ganderbal, Widening of Pandach-Beehama road and other various works in the district.
While inspecting the progress on Wayil bridge and upgradation work on Chapergund Gutlibagh road, the DDC Chairperson directed the concerned executing agencies to expedite the work progress on both vital projects by way of engaging more men and machinery so that they get completed on time.
Nuzhat Ishfaq also inspected the functioning of Regional Transformer Repair workshop at Old Power House premises Ganderbal. She inspected assemble section, winding and rewinding sections of the workshop.
Seeking details about the capacity of the workshop for repairing damaged transformers, the DDC Chairperson asked the concerned to take all necessary measures to augment the repairing capacity of the workshop. She gave necessary directions for timely repairing of damaged transformers so that people may not suffer.
Meanwhile, Nuzhat Ishfaq inspected the progress of road widening on Pandach-Beehama road, she asked the concerned to expedite the progress so that the prestigious project gets completed at an earliest.
Earlier, various local deputations also met the DDC Chairperson and visiting officers who apprised them about various issues. The DDC Chairperson gave a patient hearing to their issues and demands and assured them that all their genuine grievances would be taken up with the concerned departments for redressal in a time-bound manner.
