Jammu | : In an act of alertness and prompt action, PS Bishnah acted swiftly on information received regarding sale of illicit liquor in the area under the jurisdiction of PS Bishnah. On this police party of PS Bishnah constituted by SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan and led by SHO PS Bishnah Inspr. Joginder Singh reached on the suspected location and rounded up a suspect namely Manohar Lal S/o Lal Chand R/o Khairi who were selling illicit liquor in the area. During search, 20 litres of illicit liquor was recovered and 100 litres of lahan was destroyed on the spot.
On this case FIR No. 183/2021 u/s 48(a) (e) (f) Excise Act got registered at PS Bishnah and accused got arrested. The overall arrest and recoveries were made under the supervision of SP Hqrs Ramnish Gupta. Further investigation of the case is going on.
