Covid-19 In JK: 1 death reported in last 24 hours, toll stays at 4511

Srinagar, Jammu: Jammu & Kashmir on Monday reported 105 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 27 from Jammu division and 78 from Kashmir division, taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 339932, said J&K Government on Monday in it’s daily covid bulletin, adding therein that “One COVID death has been reported from Kashmir Division and as such the overall covid death toll mounted to 4513 in Jammu & Kashmir.
The Government in it’s covid bulletin further said that moreover, 192 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 32 from Jammu Division and 160 from Kashmir Division. The Government in it’s bulletin also said that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Monday, thus the total number of confirmed cases remains 50 across J&K..
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 60,934 doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to1,76,54,862.According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 339932 positive cases, 1363are Active Positive (336 in Jammu Division and 1027 in Kashmir Division), 334056 have recovered and 4513 have died; 2194 in Jammu division and 2319 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 18704749 test results available, 339932 samples have tested positive and 18364817 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 46,676 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 5008914 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 7967 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 1363 in isolation and 430377 in home surveillance. Besides, 4564694 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Monday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 31 cases, Baramulla reported 06 cases, Budgam reported 10 cases, Pulwama reported 02 cases, Kupwara reported 05 cases, Anantnag reported 03 cases, Bandipora reported 05 cases, Ganderbal reported 16 cases while as Kulgam and Shopian reported no fresh cases for Monday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 19 cases, Udhampur reported no case, Rajouri reported 03cases, Doda reported 02 cases, Kathua reported no cases, Samba reported no case, Poonch reported 01 cases, Kishtwar reported 01 case while as Ramban and Reasi reported no fresh cases for Monday.
The bulletin further informs the general public that they can contact helpline numbers 0191-2520982/2674444/2674115/2674908/2549676 in Jammu Division and 0194-2440283/2430581/2452052/2457313/2457312 in Kashmir Division for any kind of guidance and assistance.
In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
