Kishtwar: Panchayat Mentor attends to people’s issues at public outreach Camp

Kishtwar | : As a part of J&K government’s initiative to attend to the people’s issues at Panchayat Level in campaign mode, Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Akhter Hussain Qazi Saturday participated in a public camp at B Town-I (BT-I) of Tehsil Kishtwar and listened to the issues of public importance.
The camp was attended by Sarpanch BT-I Kulsoma Begum; Block Development Officer Kishtwar Sheetal Sharma; Chief Horticulture Officer Kishtwar, Mushtaq Ahmed Wani; CAHO Kishtwar Dr Mayan-ud-Din; Nodal officer Ayush, Dr Taraq Hussain; ALC Kishtwar Amit Kumar; NT Kishtwar Javed Khandey; Prominent Persons besides representatives of other departments.
Pertinent to mention here that the initiative has been rolled out by Govt of J&K for close monitoring and implementation of the schemes of the Govt meant for socio economic upliftment of the people at grassroots level.
During the camp, the concerned officers enlightened the public about various government schemes being implemented by their departments and meant for the uplift of common masses.
Meanwhile, ACR Kishtwar, who has been appointed as mentor for the B-Town I of Tehsil Kishtwar, also listened to the issues of people pertaining to Jal Shakti, PDD and RDD sectors.
Besides, the public also highlighted the issues pertaining to the PMAY, Awas Plus and sanitation during the camp.
After listening to their issues, ACR Kishtwar assured the locals that their issues have been diarised and will be taken up with the Concerned departments for immediate resolution.
Speaking on the occasion, the ACR Kishtwar stressed on the youth to avail the benefits of Mission Youth initiatives and other self Employment schemes.
He asked the elected members and concerned officers to work in tandem for conducting awareness programmes to promote self-employment schemes among the youth, women and general masses.
Besides discussion on the various important aspects of the initiative taken by govt and its successful implementation to achieve fruitfull results on the ground level were conducted during the camp.
