DDC Rajouri reviews performance under RDD sector

Rajouri |: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal Saturday chaired a meeting to review the performance under various RDD sector schemes being implemented in the district.
The meeting was attended by the ADDC, Pawan Kumar; CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; ACD, Sushil Khajuria; ACP, Mohd Khurshid TO ExEn REW and Block Development Officers.
Discussing the progress regarding the tendering of the works of District capex and other works, the DDC asked the concerned to organise special camps and ensure that maximum works are tendered within three days. He set December, 31, 2021 as the deadline for allotment of the tenders of all the approved works.
Reviewing the job creation under MGNREGA, the DDC inquired about the reasons for the low Person Days and asked the concerned BDOs to take effective steps to achieve the set targets. He called for creation of maximum person-days during the current financial year.
While reviewing the Adhar seeding, instructions were issued for achieving hundred per cent saturation of all the beneficiaries of the district at the earliest.
The DDC also directed to maintain interdepartmental coordination for achieving the desired outcomes on the developmental front.
He also directed to expedite the progress on several vital works and issued strict instructions to BDOs to expedite the ongoing development works for timely completion.
The DDC also exhorted upon the officers to maintain transparency and accountability in the execution of all works being executed by the RDD sector in the district.
