Covid-19 In JK: 2 deaths reported in last 24 hours, toll stays at 4500

Srinagar, Jammu : Jammu & Kashmir on Tuesday reported 134 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 31 from Jammu division and 103 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 339124, said J&K Government on Tuesday in it’s daily covid bulletin, adding therein that two COVID deaths reported from Kashmir Division have mounted death toll to 4500 in Jammu & Kashmir.
Government in it’s daily media bulletin further said that moreover, 147 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 32 from Jammu Division and 115 from Kashmir Division.
The Bulletin informs that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Tuesday.
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 43,765 doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to 1,73,48,551.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 339124 positive cases, 1427 are Active Positive (325 in Jammu Division and 1102 in Kashmir Division), 333197 have recovered and 4500 have died; 2190 in Jammu division and 2310 in Kashmir division. The Bulletin further said that out of 18375409 test results available, 339124 samples have tested positive and 18036285 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 51396 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.Till date 4865740 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 6815 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 1427 in isolation and 429766 in home surveillance. Besides, 4423232 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Tuesday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 44 cases, Baramulla reported 26 cases, Budgam reported 04 cases, Pulwama reported 04 cases, Kupwara reported 09 cases, Anantnag reported 02 cases, Bandipora reported 01 case, Ganderbal reported 12 cases, Shopian reported no case while as Kulgam reported 01 fresh cases for Tuesday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 19 cases, Udhampur reported 01 case, Rajouri reported 01 case, Doda reported 04 cases, Kathua reported 02 case, Samba reported no case, Poonch reported 04 case, Kishtwar reported no cases, while as Ramban and Reasi no fresh case for Tuesday.
The bulletin further informs the general public that they can contact helpline numbers 0191-2520982/2674444/2674115/2674908/2549676 in Jammu Division and 0194-2440283/2430581/2452052/2457313/2457312 in Kashmir Division for any kind of guidance and assistance.
In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
