Rajouri: DLTFC sanctions 65 self-employment cases

Distt Admin to setup 10000 dairy units

Rajouri : District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Rajesh K Shavan Tuesday chaired the District Level Task Force Committee meeting and sanctioned 65 self-employment cases under various schemes involving Rs 232.05 lakh as marginal money.
It was informed that a total of 134 applications were received of which 65 candidates appeared and all of them were found eligible for the loan for opening their own income generating units. With sanction to 65 cases, 2652 persons will get employment.
The DDC said that the main objective of such schemes is to make the unemployed youth self-reliant by extending them assistance for establishing business units and to make them entrepreneurs.
“District Administration is focusing on boosting employment with multi-pronged measures to cover maximum youth of the district under Self employment generation schemes”, the DC said.
He informed that District Administration Rajouri has also set the target of clearing 15000 Self Employment cases till March 2022 to enable unemployed youth of the district to set up their ventures.
“District Administration has also decided to establish 10000 dairy units in the district”, he informed further.
He also said the District Administration is also going to organize a seven days Rozgar Mela under Mission Youth and appealed to the youth to ensure their maximum participation in the mela.
The DDC enjoined upon the officers to provide full support to the budding entrepreneurs especially to the unemployed youth in the district to provide them with an opportunity to establish various income generating units.
He also appealed to all the educated unemployed youth of the district to come forward and avail themselves of the necessary benefits of several self-employment generation schemes being implemented by different departments in the district.
The meeting was attended by LDM, Jyoti Prakash; Director RSETI; District Officer KVIB, and other concerned members of the DLTFC.
