Srinagar: Jammu & Kashmir on Friday reported 173 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 44 from Jammu division and 129 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 338563, said J&K Government on Friday in it’s daily covid bulletin, adding therein that also, 01 COVID death has been reported from Kashmir Division and as such the overall covid death toll mounted to 4490 in Jammu & Kashmir.
The Government in the above referred bulletin also said that moreover, 250 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 112from Jammu Division and 138 from Kashmir Division. The Bulletin further said that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Friday.On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 57,092doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to1,72,04,599.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 338563 positive cases, 1618are Active Positive (422 in Jammu Division and 1196in Kashmir Division), 332455 have recovered and 4490 have died; 2189 in Jammu division and 2301in Kashmir division. The Bulletin further said that out of 18162649 test results available, 338563 samples have tested positive and 17824086 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 58,781 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours. Till date 4738498 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 4574persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 1618 in isolation and 428759 in home surveillance. Besides, 4299057 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Friday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 59 cases, Baramulla reported 17 cases, Budgam reported 12 cases, Pulwama reported 11cases, Kupwara reported 04 cases, Anantnag reported 02 cases, Bandipora reported 08 cases, Ganderbal reported 13 cases, Kulgam reported 03 cases while as Shopian reported no fresh cases for Friday. Similarly, Jammu reported 25 cases, Udhampur reported 01 case, Rajouri reported 01case, Doda reported 05 cases, Kathua reported 01case, Samba reported 02 cases, Poonch reported 03 cases, Reasi reported 06 cases while as Kishtwar and Ramban reported no fresh cases for Friday.The bulletin further informs the general public that they can contact helpline numbers 0191-2520982/2674444/2674115/2674908/2549676 in Jammu Division and 0194-2440283/2430581/2452052/2457313/2457312 in Kashmir Division for any kind of guidance and assistance. In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads. It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075. Further the bulletin also informs the public that for any kind of COVID-19 query, logon to www.covidrelief.jk.gov.in.
