Srinagar, Jammu : Jammu & Kashmir on Thursday reported 192 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 58 from Jammu division and 134 from Kashmir division, taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 338390, said J&K Government on Thursday in it’s daily covid bulletin, adding therein that no fresh covid death was reported from any where in Jammu & Kashmir and as such the overall covid death toll stayed at 4489.
Government in it’s daily media bulletin also said that moreover, 135 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 26from Jammu Division and 109 from Kashmir Division. The Government in it’s covid Bulletin further said that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Thursday.
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 59,348doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to1,71,49,769. According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 338390 positive cases, 1696are Active Positive (490 in Jammu Division and 1206in Kashmir Division), 332205 have recovered and 4489 have died; 2189 in Jammu division and 2300in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 18103868 test results available, 338390 samples have tested positive and 17765478 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 54,803 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours. Till date 4712257 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 4181persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 1696 in isolation and 429165 in home surveillance. Besides, 4273242 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Thursday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 65 cases, Baramulla reported 24 cases, Budgam reported 19 cases, Pulwama reported 02cases, Kupwara reported 05cases, Anantnag reported 02cases, Bandipora reported 07cases, Ganderbal reported 10 cases while as Kulgam and Shopian reported no fresh cases for Thursday. Similarly, Jammu reported 33 cases, Udhampur reported 04 cases, Rajouri reported 04 cases, Doda reported 01case, Kathua reported 04 cases, Kishtwar reported 03 cases, Poonch reported 06 cases,Reasi reported 03 cases while as Samba and Ramban reported no fresh cases for Thursday. The bulletin further informs the general public that they can contact helpline numbers 0191-2520982/2674444/2674115/2674908/2549676 in Jammu Division and 0194-2440283/2430581/2452052/2457313/2457312 in Kashmir Division for any kind of guidance and assistance. In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads. It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
