Singh also expresses satisfaction on the pace of developmental tempo, directs concerned executing agencies for timely completion of projects

Kishtwar : Principal Secretary School Education, Bishwajit Kumar Singh who is also in charge Secretary for monitoring development work and other related matters of District Kishtwar, Friday visited the Sub- Division Paddar and inspected mega developmental projects and took stock of the progress on these projects there.

He was accompanied by District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma, DDC Councillor Paddar Hari Krishan Chauhan, Joint Director Education Kishtwar-Doda-Ramban Roshan Lal , SDM Paddar Varunjeet Singh Charak, ACD Kishtwar Kishore Singh Katoch, CEO Kishtwar Rashpal Chauhan, Tehsildar Atholi, XEn PWD Sub Division Kishtwar Ramesh Jamwal, besides other concerned officers.

At the outset, Principal Secretary visited 25 bedded Hospital building site at Atholi and reviewed the pace of the work and directed the concerned authorities to gear up the speed of work so that the building is completed in time bound manner besides, stressed for adherence to the quality of work.

During his visit at GHSS Atholi Paddar he reviewed the infrastructural needs and functioning of the Institution. He inspected the science block of the said Hr. Sec. and informed that special funds for the construction of 1000 sq feet of  Multipurpose hall over the science block will be released soon which will increase the infrastructure of the school at par with the needs of school.

Meanwhile he inspected the ongoing construction work of the Govt Degree College Paddar being constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 11.42 crore.

Showing satisfaction on the pace and quality of the work GDC Atholi paddar, the Principal Secretary took stock of physical and financial status of the under-construction administrative Block ,40 bedded Girls Hostel, 60 bedded Boys Hostel there and directed Xen PWD to ensure the work is completed in stipulated time as this college will cater to the needs of the students of the Sub-Division Paddar.Later the Principal Secretary inspected the execution of Black-Topping works on GulabgGarh-Pallali road.

PMGSY authorities apprised him that BT work of 6 Km stretch has been completed so far and the BT  work on rest of 9 kms of stretch upto Kundail will be completed soon. He directed the concerned to expedite the pace of work manifold so that the pending BT work will be completed during this working session.

There he also asked the PMGSY authorities to maintain the proper drainage system along side the road.

Principal Secretary also met with the delegation lead by PRIs, prominent persons and  social activists at GulabGarh Paddar who apprised him of their demands.

While responding to their demands, he assured them that their genuine demands will be redressed in a time bound manner and gave onspot directions to the concerned for the resolution of same.
