Covid-19 In JK: 2 covid death reported in last 24 hours, toll mounts to 4459

Srinagar, Jammu:  Jammu & Kashmir on Thursday reported 223 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 32 from Jammu division and 191 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 334823.Also, 02 COVID deaths have been reported; 01 from Jammu Division and 01 from Kashmir Division and as such the overall covid death toll mounted to 4459 in Jammu & Kashmir.
In it’s daily covid media bulletin released on Thursday the J&K Government also said that 153 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 18from Jammu Division and 135 from Kashmir Division.The Bulletin also informed that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported Thursday.On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 44,588 doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to1,60,59,528.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 334823 positive cases, 1581 are Active Positive (257 in Jammu Division and 1324 in Kashmir Division), 328783 have recovered and 4459 have died; 2182 in Jammu division and 2277in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 17031425 test results available, 334823 samples have tested positive and 16696602 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 54,132 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.
Till date 4151178 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 5619 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 1581 in isolation and 435163 in home surveillance. Besides, 3704356 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported Thursday, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 74 cases, Baramulla reported 54 cases, Budgam reported 11 cases, Pulwama reported 19cases, Kupwara reported 15cases, Anantnag reported 01case,Bandipora reported 02cases, Ganderbal reported 14cases,Kulgamreported no case while as Shopian reported 01 fresh case for Thursday.
Similarly, Jammu reported 11cases, Udhampur reported no cases, Rajouri   reported 09cases, Doda reported 02 cases, Kathua reported 05 cases, Reasi reported 05cases while as Samba, Kishtwar, Poonch and Ramban reported no fresh cases for Thursday.
The bulletin further informs the general public that they can contact helpline numbers 0191-2520982/2674444/2674115/2674908/2549676 in Jammu Division and 0194-2440283/2430581/2452052/2457313/2457312 in Kashmir Division for any kind of guidance and assistance.
In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24×7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
