Ba’pora: A massive fire broke out in the Tehsil office Hajin at north Kashmir’s Bandipora on Friday evening damaging the building of the office.
Officials said that the fire broke out in one of the rooms of Tehsil office and later engulfed the entire building of old Tehsil office Hajin. Witnesses said that the fire and emergency services men who arrived with fire tenders struggled till late night to doze off the fire. The JK Police along with the locals joined the efforts to help dose off the fire. However, first floor of Tehsil office Hajin got completely damaged. A senior police official said that cause of fire is yet to be ascertained and in this regard further investigation is going on
