While talking about the importance of unity day and the events which were organized by the Department of Youth Services & Sports , Director of the Department said, Rashtriya Ekta Diwas reminds us of the great and crucial role of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. He said, “As India celebrates Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, it is our responsibility to build the India envisioned by our national leaders. In this journey towards Atmanirbhar Bharat, NMDC is playing a pivotal role in meeting the infrastructure needs of the country.”

During the event youths were also educated on the role of ‘Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’ in the integration of modern India.

The day not only commemorates the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the architect of national integration of independent India, but also re-affirms the inherent strength and resilience of the nation to withstand threats to the unity, integrity and security.
