Inter-Faculty Table Tennis tournament concludes at KU

Srinagar:An inter-faculty Table Tennis tournament concluded at the University of Kashmir.
In the first final between non-teaching staff, Dr Inam-ur-Rouf (Joint Registrar) defeated Mirza Irshad Hussain (Directorate of Physical Education and Sports) in three straight sets while in another final match between teaching staff, Dr Yahya Bakhtiyar (Zoology Department) defeated Prof Raies Qadri (Biotechnology Department) by three sets to one.
Registrar Dr Nisar Ahmad Mir distributed prizes among the winners and highlighted the importance of organising such tournaments.
Dr Nisar Ahmad Khan, Coordinator, Directorate of Physical Education and Sports welcomed the guests and presented details of sports activities to be organised by the Directorate shortly.
Nadeem Ahmad Dar, Assistant Director DPES conducted proceedings of the event, organised by the DPES under ‘Fit India Campaign’.
