Srinagar: Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu is organizing 10th International Exhibition of Art (Online) on 17th October, 2021. The Exhibition, conceived & curated by O P Sharma, Eminent Artist & Director JKCCA, would be inaugurated on virtual platffom by Sh. Ramesh Arora, Former MLC, J&K and Pt. Kewal K Sharma will be the guest of honour on this occasion. The exhibition would be a projection of divergent styles, techniques and expressions by the 110 artists of the world working in varied art genres and styles of art.
The artists participating in the exhibition, including veteran, senior and young artists, are Mssrs. According to O P Sharma, Director JKCCA, the organization has made efforts to organize nine International Exhibitions of Art, either physically or online. During the times of devastating state of Covid- 19 Pandemic, when whole of the world has been in dilemma, and people are bound to restrict to a standstill, the creativity was being put on display by JKCCA through online art exhibitions. It may be mentioned here that Jammu and Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu was established way back in 1999 by some of art lovers and enthusiasts to preserve promote and activate the splendid art heritage of Jammu & Kashmir and stimulate & rejuvenate it into a blossoming art movement. It is a matter of satisfaction that the NGO has so far organized hundreds of such activities within and outside the state including nine International Exhibitions of Art.
