Marathon under Fit India Campaign organised at Ang

Anantnag: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Anantnag in collaboration with the Department of Youth Services and Sports Friday organised a Marathon under Fit India Campaign, here.
The purpose of such events and activities is to propagate the message of the campaign especially among the youth and younger population. Along With other activities, they form an important component of the ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrations wherein 75 Years of the country’s independence are being commemorated.
The Marathon was flagged off from Sarnal by the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Chairman DLSA, Naseer Ahmad Dar. Concluding at Mattan, the event witnessed participation of a good number of local students and athletes.
Secretary DLSA, Mir Wajahat, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Mushtaq Ahmad Pampori, other officers/officials of District Court and YSS Department were also present on the occasion.
