Govt orders reconstitution of committees to select resident staff, tutor demonstrator in SKIMS

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Wednesday accorded sanction to the reconstitution of the selection committee for making promotions of the faculty members of SKIMS, Medical College/Hospital, Bemina for selection or engagement of resident staff and tutor demonstrator on tenure basis.
An order issued by Manoj Kumar Dwivedi reads, “that the sanction is hereby accorded to the re-constitution of following Committees for selection/engagement of Resident Staff and Tutor Demonstrators on tenure basis at Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Soura and Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Medical College/ Hospital, Bemina.”
As per the order the committee for SKIMS, Soura consists of Dean of Medical Faculty, SKIMS will be chairman of the committee while as Medical Superintendent, SKIMS and Concerned Head of Department will be members of the committee and registrar academics SKIMS will be member secretary of the committee.
As per order the Committee for SKIMS, Medical College/ Hospital, Bemina consists of Principal, SKIMS Medical college/ Hospital Bemina who will be chairman of the committee, Medical Superintendent, SKIMS, Medical College/Hospital, Bemina will be member secretary and Concerned Head of Departmen and Registrar Academics, SKIMS, Medical College/Hospital, Bemina will be members of the committee.
“The above committees shall submit their recommendations to the Director SKIMS and ex-officio secretary to the government for implementation,” the order reads
