Srinagar: Continuing the programme of Clean India, Department of Youth Services & Sports Ganderbal in collaboration with Zonal Physical Education Officer, Hariganiwan Tuesday organized cleanliness and awareness programme at JKTDC Park at Mammar Hariganiwan.
During the clean India drive all field staff along with office staff of Zone Hariganiwan and sports loving students participated.
Around 10 kg of polythene / plastic and other waste material was collected for the safe disposal. District Youth Services & Sports Officer, Sheikh Shafkat lqbal and Zonal Physical Education Officer Hariganiwan, Raja Yaqoob and other officials took an awareness rally through the main market of Mammar to highlight the importance of cleanliness and ill effects of polythene and plastic in day to day life.
