Srinagar: An awareness program “World Youth Skills Day” was Saturday held at Government Women’s ITI Bemina, Srinagar by the department of Technical Education to highlight the importance of world youth skills day. Director Technical Education was the chief guest on the occasion.
Deputy Director Employment and Counseling, General Manager DIC Srinagar, CEO Srinagar, Member Civil Society, Representative of EDI Pampore, Deputy Director ITI, renowned Industrialists, besides students in large number participated in the awareness program.
The importance of skill development in the present scenario regarding different skill sets needed by the industry was also highlighted by the speakers.
