Ganderbal: The District Information Centre (DIC) Ganderbal Friday conducted awareness on COVID-19 appropriate behaviour (CAB) through a fleet of publicity vans.
The mobile publicity vans left from the Mini Secretariat Complex Ganderbal and moved across the various areas of the district including Gund, Kullan, Kangan, Manigam, Nagbal, Shuhaama, Dab, Narienbagh, Rabtar, Chundna, Shallabugh and other adjoining areas of Ganderbal Town making announcements encouraging people to get vaccinated and follow the COVID-19 appropriate behaviour.
Post publicity announcements, the District Information Centre will be organizing several Information, Education and Communication (IEC) activities including Focused Group Discussions, sensitization programs, Nukad Natak and seminars involving various sects of society to sensitize the masses about different preventive measures for protection from COVID-19 and to clear the doubts about the safety and efficacy of the vaccines.
The DIC will be organizing similar awareness programmes throughout the district in coming days.
