Cyclist Abid Teeli calls on Advisor Farooq Khan in Srinagar

Srinagar:Abid Teeli who has the record of fastest cycle expedition from Srinagar to Kanyakumari in 8 days 1 hour and 39 minutes Friday called on Advisor to Lieutenant Governor Farooq Khan here.
Abid Teeli has entered the Guinness book of world records with this feat.
Advisor took keen interest to listen from Abid Teeli about his expedition, hobbies, future plans and his suggestions.
Abid Teeli showed interest in taking an expedition from Manali to Leh very soon.
The Advisor assured him that J&K Govt will provide all possible support in his expected expedition.
The Advisor also assured him of providing all support for training at a National level institute.
He further told that the Department of Youth Services and Sports is taking number of initiatives to provide world class facilities to players of different games.
