COVID Scenario: Positivity rate dips to 0.10 percent in Kishtwar

Kishtwar: As per the weekly report Covid positivity rate has shown a steep decline in district Kishtwar said Deputy Commissioner Ashok Sharma while briefing the media persons about the current COVID care Scenario in the District.
The DC revealed that disclosed that this week only 05 new cases were reported in the district, which shows that the strict implementation of COVID mitigation and enforcement measures has worked well.“The positivity rate percentage has declined to 0.10 percent this week which is a sign of relief for administration” he said.
The DC said that against 2061 Covid positive cases reported during the second wave, 2035 have recovered, while 10 COVID positive cases are still active and are undergoing treatment in the home quarantine aided by the health department. He further informed that there are no COVID positive patients admitted in the Hospital.
He cautioned the public not to lower the guard against pandemics and continue to adhere to the COVID appropriate behaviour (CAB) as the threat is not over yet.
