Jammu: The artists of Cultural Wing, Department of Information & Public Relations, Jammu Wednesday organised a musical program, besides staged a Nukkad Natak on the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav here at Nagrota Park, Karan Nagar, late last evening.
Corporator, Ambphalla, Suneet Kumar Raina attended the function as the chief guest.
The artists of Cultural wing under the guidance of Cultural Officer, DIPR Jammu, Parul Khajuria presented theme based songs on the Azadi Ka Amrit Mohotsav and Covid Appropriate Behaviour.
The artists through their public performances spread the messages regarding the importance of following Covid safety guidelines and SOPs issued by the government, including maintaining hand hygiene, wearing face masks in public places, maintaining social distance to avert fresh surge in the cases.
The Chief guest also appreciated the role of DIPR, especially artists of the Cultural Wing for conducting awareness programs for making the people aware about the precautions and threat of the virus.
