Srinagar/ Sept, 17: Chairman People’s Democratic Front PDF Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen has strongly condemned killing of Bantoo Sharma – a constable in Railway Protection Force and a civilian in Wanpoh Kulgam area of South kashmir by unknown gunmen.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Hakeem while expressing sorrow over the killings , said today two more families have fallen prey to ongoing senseless killings and violence in Jammu and Kashmir. He said enough blood of innocent people has spilled down during last 30 years of turmoil which should be stopped in any case now. He said ongoing violence has given nothing except mayhem and bloodshed adding more and more to the long list of widows, orphans, handicapped and destitutes. He urged all the stakeholders of Kashmir issue to rise to the occasion to stop killing of innocent people both civilians and police personnel. He said if the society fails to stop the ongoing bloodshed and mayhem right now , the posterity will never forgive us. PDF Chairman has conveyed sympathies with the bereaved families and prayed for to the departed souls .
