Kupwara: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din Monday distributed a payment bill of Rs.17, 12,000 among six beneficiaries of Surkoli Kalaroose under compensation of structures involved in Damini-Jakanaka PMGSY road.
While handing over the payment bill to the concerned beneficiaries, the DC expressed satisfaction over the efforts of revenue functionaries for timely assessment and payment of the cases.
Meanwhile, the beneficiaries including Mohammad Shafi Deeded S/o Mir Ahmad Deeded; Alam Din Khasana S/o Saini Khasana; Abdul Rehaman Bhara S/o Alam Din Bhara; Fareed Ahmad Khasana S/o Abdullah Khasana; Farooq Ahmad Chichi S/o Alam Din Chachi and Naik Alam S/o Faiz Mohd Khasana expressed their gratitude towards the DC and Revenue functionaries for timely settlement of their land compensation cases. ACR Kupwara, Jowhar Ali and DIO Kupwara, Mohammad Yousuf Mir were present on the occasion.
