Doda: Horticulture Department Tuesday started one month Capacity Building Training for women under PM Formalisation of Micro food processing Enterprises (PM FME) Scheme, here at village Nai Basti in Drudhu Panchayat of Bhaderwah Tehsil.
Chief Horticulture officer Doda, Rakesh Kotwal inaugurated the one month Training Programme. The Manager cum Chemist Bhaderwah B.B. Pangotra; Naib Sarpanch Drudhu Maya Devi; Panches Mulkh Raj, Nirmal Devi, AMO Doda, HDO Doda and other officials attended the inaugural function.
During the training programme over 50 women will be trained in value addition to Horticulture produce to help in reducing the post harvest losses.
The Chief Horticulture Officer advised the participant to make the training fruitful and get maximum knowledge about fruit processing and the schemes especially on PMFME.The PRIs thanked the department for organizing the programme.
