Srinagar /Aug, 13: One militant was killed in the overnight gunfight in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district and search of the building in which two militants were believed to be trapped has not been completed yet, said police
Confirming the killing of the militant the Kashmir Zone Police on it’s twitter handle quoted IGP Kashmir as saying that one militant was killed and complete search of building yet to be done.
In an earlier tweet on Thursday evening Kashmir Zone Police had quoted IGP Kashmir as saying that two trapped militants of LeT are alive with whom exchange of fire is on and two security force personnel and two civilians have been injured in fire from the trapped militants. Kashmir Zone Police in it’s tweet had also quoted IGP Kashmir as saying that police is taking all precautions for lesser collateral damage as target building is huge one:
