Srinagar: Police in Budgam on Monday said that it has arrested a man involved in illegal excavation and transportation of minerals from Harwani Khansahab area of Budgam.
In a statement issued here on Monday police said that a police party of Police Station Khansahib arrested a man and seized a JCB involved in illegal excavation and transportation of raw minerals from Government land at Harwani, Khansahab area of Budgam, stating therein that the man arrested has been identified as Fayaz Ahmad Khan son of Mohd Akbar Khan residdent of Hariwani Khansahib.
In the concluded para of it’s above referred statement police said that case vide FIR No. 187/2021 under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Khansahab and investigation set into motion.
