Srinagar : Taking a cue from exclusive inputs about premature transfers of officials in the department of Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) from “Kashmir Horizon” the Advisor to Lt Governor Farooq Ahmad Khan and Commissioner/ Secretary Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department swung into action and ordered withdrawal of premature transfer orders in a record short time of two hours Thursday this week. It may be mentioned here that Kashmir Horizon had in it’s Friday editions published a detailed report about premature transfers ordered recently by the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department in Kashmir division.
As already reported the “Kashmir Horizon” Thursday this week brought to the notice of Advisor Farooq Ahmad Khan the premature transfers ordered by the department in a record short time of two hours the department Thursday afternoon ordered the withdrawal of all premature transfers ordered in recent days. The actions of Advisor Farooq Khan and Commissioner Secretary to Government Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) department for withdrawal of premature transfer orders have brought respite to employees who had been shifted much before attaining the mature stay. It may be recalled here that under the new transfer policy announced by the Government last year transfers have to be ordered only twice in the calendar year- November & December and March and April.
