Bandipora: A team of District Legal Services Authority Bandipora led by Chief Judicial Magistrate Bandipora, Abdul Qayoom Mir on Saturday visited the flash flood affected families to assess the ground situation in the aftermath of the damages caused by flash floods.
The CJM was accompanied by the members of the core group constituted by JK Legal Services Authority for disaster management. The members included Fariqa Nazir, Secretary District Legal Services Authority Bandipora, Dr. Masrat Iqbal Block Medical Officer Bandipora, Advocate Shuaib Ahmad Dewani, Advocate Rabiya Hassan and Advocate Riyaz Ahmad District Coordinator of NGO (Orphanage in need).
The team visited Aloosa, Ketsan, Ashtingo and chechinar areas of Bandipora district
During their visit, the team assessed the damage caused to property and agricultural land. They interacted with the people in these habitations who apprised them about the problems being faced by them.
The team shall compile a comprehensive compliance report with regard to the follow-up action by the Core Group and will be submitted to the JK Legal Services Authority within two days.
