ADGP Armed promotes 2054 Constables as Sg. Constables

Srinagar: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Armed J&K S J M Gillani Monday issued promotion orders of 2054 Constables of J&K Armed Police to the rank of Sg.Constables.
According to a police statement issued on Monday, the promotion orders were issued by the Armed Police Headquarters J&K Jammu after the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) headed by ADGP Armed J&K as its Chairman found them fit for their promotion as Sg.Constables.
Stating that ADGP Armed J&K S.J.M Gillani congratulated the newly promoted Sg.Constables and their families, the police in it’s statement further said that Gillani expressed the hope that the promoted officials will continue to work with the same zeal and zest and discharge their duties honestly and professionally, upholding the sanctity of public service.
The ADGP Armed J&K, according to the police statement, appreciated the efforts put in place by his Staff Officer Mahmood Ahmad and his team of officers for collection and scrutiny of service records and preparation of data of such a huge number of officials in a shortest possible time.
In the concluding para of it’s above referred statement police said “ADGP also complimented DPC members for their vigorous efforts in accomplishing the promotion process of the officials within the given time”
