Srinagar/July, 18 : All India Congress Committee (AICC) Incharge for Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Organizational affairs Rajani Patil on Sunday interacted with Party leaders, District President and others at Srinagar Party Office and devised a roadmap with regard to party activities in coming days across Kashmir.

Rajani Patil & JKPCC President Ghulam Ahmad Mir interacted with dozens of Party delegations from across Kashmir and received feedback with regard current situation, besides socio political scenario obtaining in Kashmir. During the interaction, AICC Incharge also received feedback with regard to organizational affairs and activities at grass root level in the districts across Kashmir and laid emphasizes over reaching out to people with the programmes and policies of the Party.

Patil also emphasized cadres to gear up for the challenges, besides remaining committed to the cause of strengthening the Party at grass roots level, as that, it was the Congress Party alone, which always remained at the forefront to serve people and it will continue to work for them under the leadership of Madam Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.

Every Party leader and worker should feel duty bound to give united fight against the wrong policies of the Govt, which was the source behind disappointment amongst the people not only in Jammu and Kashmir, but in the entire country and were yearning for the change, for the fact, they feel betrayed and cheated by the BJP Govt at Centre, Patil said.

AICC Incharge further urged the cadres to continue to protest against the unprecedented price hike in petrol, diesel and other essentials and lashed out at Centre Govt for failing people on every count. Despite hue and cry against the inflation, the Centre Govt was not bothered about the economic crisis confronting people rather the prices were touching new heights every day, which was a matter of grave concern, Patil added

AICC Incharge met series of delegation from all the districts which included delegation from Anantnag, Kulgam, Shopian, Pulwama, Srinagar, Ganderbal, Budgam, Bandipora, Ganderbal, Kupwara and Baramulla, besides delegations of frontal organizations, departments and cells of JKPCC. On this occasion Ghulam Ahmad Mir asked the Party Cadres to strengthen the hands of Madam Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, for the fact, Congress Party under their leadership was committed to   vigorously fight for safeguarding interests of the people.

Those who were part of the delegations included JKPCC Vice President Haji Adul Rashid Dar, Senior Leader Mohd Amin Bhat, Gulzar Ahmad Wani, PCC General Secretary Surinder Singh Channi, Shameema Iqbal, AICC Member Abid Kashmiri, Nissar Ahmad Mundoo, Secretaries Abdul Rashid Lone, Mohd Iqbal Mir, Mushtaq Pahalgami, Jawahira Bano, DCC Presidents Farooq Ahmad Bhat, Sahil Farooq, Zahid Hussain Jan, Fayaz Ahmad Mir, Abdul Gani Khan, Mushtaq Ahmad Khanday, Umer Jaan, Dr. Ayoub Mattoo, Senior Leaders  Shahjehan Dar (DDC Member) Muneer Ahmad Mir, Abdul Rashid Dar (Sangrama), Nazir Ahmad Lone, Shabroz Hassan, Irshad Ahmad Ganie, Javed Magrey, Reyaz Ahmad Sheikh, Frontal Organization heads Shameema Raina Mahila Vice President, Sheikh Amir Rasool PYC, Councilors, Corporators, MC Presidents besides Sarpanchs, Panchs and various other Party leaders were part of the delegations. On this occasion various Councilors from Uri and Pulwama joined Congress Party. The leader welcomed them into Congress Party.
