DYSS Reasi chalks out strategy for smooth conduct of open tournament

Reasi: To chalk out the strategy for the smooth conduct of the open tournament- Sports cup 2021-22, under the aegis of Department of Youth Services, a meeting was Saturday convened here in the office of the District Youth Services and Sports Officer.

The meeting was informed that the vision of the tournament is to hunt the local talent of youth, educate the youth about covid vaccination, cleanliness, procurement of water resources and pollution free environment.

The meeting was further apprised that the tournament would be organized from July 25, 2021 onwards as per the Directions of Director General Youth services and sports. A zone level committee was constituted to conduct the inter Block tournament in Kabaddi, Volleyball, Kho Kho and Cricket. The teams have been raised from Panchayats in the age of 16 to 25 years.

As many as 28 committee members from all zones of Reasi took part in the meeting and assured that the tournament will be organized under strict covid SOP guidelines. They also demanded for the sports Equipment and other allied materials for successful organisation of the tournament and the same will be proposed to higher authorities.

The meeting Culminated successfully with vote of thanks by Kuldeep Raj I/C activity Section.
