Jammu: J&K Police Hospital Jammu is introducing ‘Telemedicine Consultation’ for the treatment of Police personnel and their dependents from 19th July 2021 (10 am to 4:30 pm) daily.
An order issued by the Medical Superintendent Police Hospital, Jammu Dr Poonam Mahajan reads that in the interest of patient care and in order to render expert advice regarding treatment of Police personnel and their dependents who belong to far flung areas and are unable to visit the hospital for regular check ups, facility for providing ‘Telemedicine Consultation’ is being introduced in Police Hospital Jammu on mobile number 9469637847 w.e.f 19th July 2021.
For the purpose a roster of consultations is being issued for providing expert consultations in their specific domain.
DAY DEPARTMENT/UNIT TIMING
Monday Gynecologist 10 am to 4:30 pm
Tuesday Surgeon 10 am to 4:30 pm
Wednesday Ophthalmologist 10 am to 4:30 pm
Thursday Radiologist 10 am to 4:30 pm
Friday E.N.T Specialist 10 am to 4:30 pm
Saturday Dental Surgeon 10 am to 4:30 pm
The order further reads that after 4:30 pm to 10 am next day morning and during all Sundays/gazetted holidays Casualty Medical Officer (CMO) of the hospital shall be responsible for taking the calls.
