Jammu: Deputy Commissioner Anshul Garg Monday reviewed various revenue related matters in the district here at a meeting of concerned officers.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, L&O Ghanshyam Singh; ADC (Admin) Satish Sharma; SDMs, Tehsildars and other concerned officers of the department were present in the meeting.
Land acquisition/ land transfer cases related to roads such as, Ring Road, BRO, BEACON, Jammu-Akhnoor Highway, Delhi-Katra Expressway, PMGSY besides land for Degree Colleges, Solid Waste Management Projects, disbursement of awarded amount by respective Collectors were reviewed by the Deputy Commissioner.
The matters related to writing up of Jamabandis, Digitization of Jamabandis and revenue records, writing of Khasra Girdawri Registers, Attestation of pending Mutations, Removal of encroachment from state land, Disposal of court cases related to revenue were also discussed.
While taking a detailed review of the progress with regard to writing of Jamabandis, attestation of mutations and writing of Girdawaris, the DC directed the Tehsildars to complete the same as per targets.
He set timelines for the concerned officers for speedy submission of details of mutations and updation of Jamabandis/Girdawari and land acquisition for projects.
The Deputy Commissioner also asked the officers to launch anti-encroachment drives to vacate State, Kahcharai and common land in their respective areas.
The Deputy Commissioner asked the concerned officers to work with zeal and zest and ensure completion of the work within targeted time.
