Attestation cum Passing Out Parade of 15th BRTC batch held at STC Talwara

Reasi:After undergoing a rigorous nine month Basic Recruitment Training Course (BRTC), 15th batch of 604 constables of Jammu and Kashmir Armed and Executive Police Friday took part in Passing–Out-Parade here at STC Talwara. Director General Police, Dilbag Singh was the chief guest on the occasion. Additional Director General of Police Armed J&K, Army Officers, Para Military officers and other senior Police officers also witnessed the Parade.The 15th BRTC batch consists of highly qualified men hailing from different parts of J&K. Out of 604 trainees, 24 are Post Graduates, 54 Graduates, 138 10+2 pass , 220 matriculate and 168 middle pass. The Batch comprises 476 Executive Police personnel, 116 IRP BNs personnel and 12 of Armed Police.
Among the trainees, 63 were recruited through Transparent Recruitment Policy, 489 are SPOs who’s work remained outstanding on anti Militancy front, 3 have been converted from Follower to Constable and 49 personnel were recruited under SRO-43.
The trainees underwent meticulous training and passed out with flying colors to serve the Jammu and Kashmir Police. Besides this, trainees were also familiarized with crucial modern techniques.
In his address, DGP Dilbag Singh heart warmingly welcomed the newly inducted members in J&K Police. The DGP also appreciated work and conduct of all the trainees and appreciated the determination of the Institute for imparting quality Training since its inception in 1998. The Director General also expressed his deep condolence to the families of martyrs of Jammu and Kashmir Police force who laid down their lives for the protection of the Nation.
Earlier, in his welcome address, Principal STC Talwara, Anil Kumar Katoch, expressed his best wishes to all the new members of the Police force who passed out in this batch.
R/Ct Sunil Kumar Chest No. 534/STC Belt No. 696/IR-19th Bn was adjudged overall best in BRTC 15th Batch and was on the spot awarded one rank up (SGCT) by the DGP J&K.
