Shopian:Vaccination drive for 18 year and above persons continues in all designated Covid vaccination centres established by the concerned Health Authorities across the district including in rural areas and people can take the vaccination after registration on CoWin app.
Terming vaccination as a panacea and ultimate solution to mitigate the Pandemic, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya appealed to the people to get themselves vaccinated for COVID at the earliest to stay safe from the deadly infection.
The DC reiterated his appeal to the general public to get vaccinated at the earliest for safety and protection of themselves, family and whole society, besides to suppress the expected 3rd wave of Covid-19.
COVID-19 vaccination for 18-44 age group is going on in full swing across the district and our medical teams are leaving no stone unturned to reach out to the targeted population in every nook and corner of the district, said the DC. He maintained that so far an overwhelming response has been received from public.
