Anantnag:: On the occasion of World Day Against Child Labour, District Legal Service Authority Anantnag, Saturday organized a webinar on the topic to aware people regarding the detrimental effects of Child Labour besides the legal provisions to curb it.
Principal District and Sessions Judge (Chairman DLSA) Anantnag, Naseer Ahmad Dar supervised and presided over the virtual event as Chief Guest besides Mudasir Rasool, Assistant Professor, Law Department University of Kashmir and Chairperson Child Welfare Committee Anantnag, Dr. Tawheeda Maqdoomi attending as speakers.
The Webinar was moderated by Mir Wajahat, Sub- Judge/ Secretary DLSA Anantnag who also extended “vote of thanks” to the participants.
Pertinently, the programme was held in pursuance to directions of JK Legal Services Authority and was part of the Action Plan for this month.
The program was also attended by Judicial Officers, Panel lawyers, Para Legal Volunteers and staff members of DLSA and TLSCs of the district.
