Srinagar: Police in Handwara said on Saturday that has seized six vehicles involved in transportation of illegally mined material in Handwara.
In a statement issued on Saturday police said that police teams along with teams of Geology and Mining Department seized six vehicles involved in transportation of illegally mined materials in Handwara.
Stating that on specific information, a Police Party from Police Post Langate along with teams of Geology and Mining Department seized six vehicles for transportation of illegally mined materials in Govt land at Nalla Mawar, police in it’s statement said that a case under relevant sections of law was registered in concerned police stations and investigation was also taken up.
