Jammu: Director Horticulture Jammu, Ram Savak, Saturday chaired a meeting of Chief Horticulture Officers of Jammu Division to review the progress of various developmental activities (Physical & Financial) being carried out during the current financial year in Jammu Division.
He asked the officers to submit the detail of physical and financial progress made under different departmental schemes i.e. CAPEX budget / Centrally Sponsored Schemes like MIDH, ATMA, PMDP, PMKSY, RKVY and TBO besides progress on formation of Farmer Producer Organisations (FPO) and PMFME.
He also reviewed the response regarding the sale of fruit plants and value added products in the facilitation centres across Jammu Division.
The Director instructed the officers to submit the progress in respect of production of quality planting material / rootstock in the Departmental Nurseries as per the allotted targets during the previous year.
He also discussed the strategy for implementation of various departmental developmental schemes to be taken during 2021-22.
Director gave a patient hearing to the issues raised by the officers and assured them that all their genuine problems shall be sorted out.
Deputy Director Horticulture Jammu, Chief Canning Instructor Jammu, Dy. Director Planning and other Officers were also present in the meeting.
