Srinagar: Police in Bandipora on Wednesday said that police teams along with teams of Geology and Mining Department have seized three vehicles involved in transportation of illegally mined materials in Bandipora.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday Police said “ acting on a specific information, a police party from Police Post Ajas along with teams of Geology and Mining Department seizes 3 vehicles for transportation of illegally mined materials in SK Bala Ajas, Sumbal”.
Stating that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered in concerned police stations and investigation has been taken up, police in the concluded para of it’s above referred statement appealed people to cooperate with it and not to indulge in illegal mining activities from any Nallah as it is the violation of Government rules
