Rajouri: To ease COVID hardships, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Rajesh K Shavan Tuesday released Rs 89.71 lakh for providing Rs 1000 each to 8861 construction workers as Covid relief for the Month of May, 2021.
The financial aid had been provided to the construction workers following the announcement made by Lieutenant Governor J&K to ease the hardships of the construction workers amid the CoronaVirus pandemic.
The Deputy Commissioner asked the ALC to register the left out construction workers with the Labour Department so that they can also avail various welfare schemes being implemented by the Department in the district.
