Mumbai: Manish Pandey and Karun Nair were named skippers for the India A’s for the ODIs and Tests for the upcoming tour of South Africa.
India ‘A’ will play a one-day tri-series involving Australia ‘A’ and South Africa ‘A’ followed by two four-day matches against the hosts, The All-India Senior Selection Committee announced today.
The tour begins with the first one-dayer of the triangular series in Groenkloof on July 26 between India A and Australia A.
Krunal Pandya and Basil Thampi are in 16-member squad of the triangular series.
In the IPL season 10 both the players performed brilliantly.
Gujarat Lions player Thampi took 11 wickets making him the second most wicket taker in his team.
