Budgam: On the directions of Divisional Commissioner Kashmir P K Pole, a team of Excise Department accompanied by Revenue Department Budgam and Police personnel Saturday destroyed Poppy cultivation on 3 three kanals of land at village Mamamat Budgam.
The Tehsildar Budgam Madam who supervised the whole proceedings said that the drive launched Saturday will continue with more vigour and force and will be result oriented.
She said, people in general particularly from the concerned village appreciated and hailed the initiative launched by the administration.
